I think most people who are successful at Niche Marketing and Internet Marketing in general will agree that selecting the right niche and more specifically the right keywords and keyword phrases is top priority if you want to succeed. If you choose the wrong keywords, you will make very little money and get very frustrated.
So, how do we chose the right niche and the right keywords? Well, let’s think about our business model to gain some insights. Let’s say you have Adsense ads on your website. How do those work? Google’s bots try to determine what your site is about and display ads related to your content. That’s where the money comes from. People who are brought to the site with the promise of information and during the consumption of that information get distracted and leave your site by clicking on ads that are more interesting than your content.
