Niche Marketing Strategies That Get Results
Coming up with your own niche marketing strategy may be more complicated than it initially seems. Simply putting up a few content rich articles on your own website may seem like all you need at first, but for even the smallest niches you will need to do some promotion on the side to get to the top of the Google rankings.

Search engine optimization is big business right now, but many are jumping into the fray without a clue as to what they are supposed to do aside from writing articles. Though having content rich, high quality articles is the basis for any SEO endeavor, taking your promotional efforts outside of your own websites will extend their profitability even further.

A well planned and executed niche marketing strategy will consist of more than just a website with an article or two. Links coming into the site are also important, and play just as big of a part in the success of your endeavor as the content itself.

Incoming links can come in through a few ways. One way, which is what most beginner SEO marketers believe will be the case, is incoming links from people who read the content and feel the need to share with others. This is extremely rare for most niche websites unless they have rare or unique content that is either not found online or is extremely difficult to come across. Even if you have a valuable nugget of information, you can not just expect these types of links to come in on their own.

Another method is through social networking sites. Many standard businesses have their own Twitter or Facebook account, so why shouldn’t your website? Well, for starters, to effectively go this route you need to invest some time into it — and even then, it is only viable if you frequently update your main niche site regularly. This is an extremely effective method of link promotion, but it is also one that requires multiple times the effort that you would put towards other options.

Submitting content to article directories is another option, and has proven to be an effective one time and time again. This is a good way to get links to your website from sources that have a high PR ranking with the search engines. Almost every SEO marketer has some sort of article submission in their niche marketing strategy, and there are many submission websites to choose from and submit to. This is something that must be worked into your overall plan at some point in the promotion process, whether it sounds like a good time or not.

There are more methods being thought up every day to drive traffic towards websites. Staying on the pulse of the latest search engine trends and promotional methods will serve you well in your niche marketing strategy.
